What we measure

Every 24SEVEN paddle is scored 0–10 on five attributes. Same rig, same ball, same operator, three paddles measured in one sitting.

Contact

How the ball leaves the face — plush and cushioned, or crisp and immediate. Neither is better.

Feedback

How clearly the paddle tells you where on the face you hit it.

Dwell

How long the ball stays on the face, in milliseconds.

Stability

How little the paddle twists on off-centre contact.

Quiet

How much unwanted vibration reaches your hand.

Why we publish low scores

A range where everything scores 8+ is an advertisement with tick marks. The lowest number on a card is usually the most useful one on it.
